Job summary

TriTechne is seeking a Senior Construction Laborer – Telecom to lead airborne and underground telecom projects, guiding crews while ensuring safety and efficiency on site. The role requires experience with conduit and cable placement, as well as comfort with on-call travel and overnight stays.

You will mentor junior workers, interpret construction drawings, and coordinate with foremen to ensure timely project progression.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 4–6 years telecom or construction experience.
• CDL preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in demanding field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced labor tasks such as conduit placement, handhole installation, cable placement, and emergency call-out support.
• Lead small labor teams and report progress to foremen.
• Operate trenchers, tampers, and mini-excavators safely and efficiently.
• Safely dig and work around active fiber and copper cables.
• Train and mentor junior laborers on safe work practices.
• Interpret construction drawings and ensure accurate execution.
• Participate in on-call rotation schedules and travel to project sites as required, including overnight stays.
