Job summary

TriTechne is seeking a Senior Construction Laborer – Telecom to lead field work on aerial and underground telecom projects. You will mentor junior crews, interpret drawings, and ensure safe, efficient execution across active fiber and copper installations.

The role requires 4–6 years of telecom/construction experience, OSHA 30, and the ability to travel to project sites, including overnights. CDL preferred and heavy equipment proficiency are valued.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of telecom or construction experience.
• OSHA 30 or equivalent certification.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred).
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in demanding field conditions.
• Experience with FTTH, backbone, or long-haul fiber projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced labor tasks such as conduit placement, handhole installation, cable placement.
• Lead small labor teams and report progress to foremen.
• Operate trenchers, tampers, and mini-excavators safely and efficiently.
• Safely dig and work around active fiber and copper cables.
