Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Technology Solutions Advanced Specialist to lead cross-system analysis for PPA product, platform, and data initiatives. You will mentor peers, shape solution direction, and raise analysis standards across teams.

The role spans Product, Engineering, Data, Security, and Operations, translating business needs into scalable technology solutions. Remote within the United States with a strong focus on governance and stakeholder alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5-8+ years of business analysis or technology delivery experience.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives in Agile/hybrid environments.
• Experience with systems integration, APIs, data flows, and reporting.
• IIBA certification or similar is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end analysis for complex initiatives across Pearson systems and stakeholders.
• Use AI-assisted analysis for requirement synthesis and data insights.
• Facilitate discovery workshops and cross-functional reviews.
• Translate business objectives into product/system capabilities and backlog artifacts.
• Own requirements strategy, traceability, and risk assessment.
• Drive alignment between Product, Engineering, Architecture, Data, Security, and Operations.
• Promote maintainable, reusable solutions and reduce technical debt.
• Develop templates and QA for requirements, user stories, and data mapping.
• Mentor peers and support release readiness and handoffs.
• Identify AI-enabled process improvements across Pearson VUE workflows.
