Job summary

Celestar, a B&A Company, seeks a STEM Engineer III for a contract with a federal government client. You will join a team to support mission-critical projects, providing rigorous engineering analysis and security-focused assessments.

The role requires a strong background in systems engineering, risk reduction, and collaboration with SES-level officials, with opportunity for growth and exposure to DoD programs. TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (e.g., mechanical, electrical, civil, chemical, aerospace, materials).
• Eight years of engineering experience applying analytical methods, systems engineering concepts, or technology protection activities with the DoD, IC, or defense industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide RTP engineering analysis, including CTI identification, CPI assessments, and CF analysis.
• Contribute to threat identification, protection measure development, and countermeasure recommendations based on engineering results.
• Document results of support and meetings in assessment memoranda, EXSUMs, and monthly status reports.
• Collaborate with government and contractor security specialists to develop and implement Interm/Protection Plans or Program Protection Plans at facilities.
• Conduct CPI Surveys, CPI Assessments, ACT-ID reviews, and CRADA reviews as required.
• Develop, test, maintain, and operate a database/spreadsheet to support CIDA case management, metrics, and reporting.
