Job summary

White & Case LLP is seeking a seasoned Portfolio Manager for the Technology PMO. You will drive strategic planning, roadmaps, and governance for technology portfolios, coordinating with senior leaders and portfolio owners to align investments with firm priorities.

You will lead priority initiatives and coach program and project managers while guiding risk, financials, and delivery outcomes across global portfolios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• PMP certification required.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in technology project, program, or portfolio management.
• 5+ years of experience leading complex technology programs or portfolios involving multiple teams, business functions, and senior stakeholders.
• Experience managing portfolio financials, resource capacity, strategic roadmaps, and executive-level reporting.
• Formal team-leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in a global professional-services environment preferred.
• Portfolio Management Professional or similar certifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Technology Directors and stakeholders to establish portfolio priorities and delivery plans.
• Develop and maintain multi-year portfolio roadmaps reflecting objectives, investments, dependencies, and outcomes.
• Ensure alignment between investments and firm priorities and capacity.
• Support annual planning and budgeting by defining and justifying portfolio needs.
• Facilitate prioritization decisions based on value, risk, and capacity.
• Maintain an integrated view of programs and initiatives within the portfolio.
• Provide portfolio-level oversight for planning and delivery of programs and initiatives.
• Lead scoping, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure with change control and risk management.
• Maintain visibility into demand, capacity, allocation, and constraints.
• Align resources with approved priorities in partnership with leaders and delivery managers.
• Identify conflicts and decide sequencing, reassignment, deferral, or escalation.
