Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, Inc. seeks an experienced Pharmacy Informatics Leader with deep Epic Willow expertise. The role focuses on clinical software leadership in medication management, order entry, and decision support across large hospital operations and enterprise initiatives.
Expect to lead design, build, testing and support, while mentoring technology pharmacists and aligning workflows with governance standards. Requires PharmD and PGY2 in informatics.
Exhibits the highest degree of expertise in acute care pharmacy operations, clinical informatics, Epic Willow and related functions. Clinical software expert in medication management, order entry, clinical knowledgebases, decision support and automation. Provides clinical software leadership, in area(s) of specialization, on projects as required. May act as a subject matter expert in a business and/or functional area to help the user in defining their needs. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems utilizing knowledge of their areas(s) of specialization. May have duties instructing, directing and/or checking the work of others as it relates to their area of specialization. Expected to focus 80% or more time engaged in supporting Epic design, build, testing and support. Reports to Manager or Director level in Information Services.
Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
