Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in New Brunswick, New Jersey seeks a Senior Technology Auditor – Finance to join the risk and controls team. You will perform risk-based IT audits, lead workstreams, and evaluate controls across financial reporting, privacy, data protection, and cybersecurity.

You will translate complex technical issues into business risks, develop high-quality deliverables, and partner with global teams. Domestic and international travel up to 40% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Data Science, Accounting or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional IT, audit, assurance or advisory experience, preferably in multinational settings.
• Ability to independently execute audit procedures, assess risk, evaluate controls and communicate recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Perform risk-based technology audits with limited supervision, including ITGC testing and SOX 404.
• Lead audit workstreams, providing direction and feedback to team members.
• Plan and execute procedures, evaluate control design and operating effectiveness across financial reporting and data privacy/security.
• Develop timely, high-quality deliverables and communications that support conclusions and demonstrate professional judgment.
• Identify risks and business impacts to develop practical recommendations to strengthen controls.
• Coordinate testing following industry standards and J&J guidelines.
• Build relationships with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Leverage data analytics and AI-enabled techniques to deliver insights and improve audit effectiveness.
• Translate complex technical matters into business risks and executive-level recommendations.
