Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in New York, NY, seeks a Senior Laboratory Technologist in the Central Laboratory Chemistry section for days. You will supervise and coordinate the activities of laboratory personnel while performing quantitative and qualitative tests.

This full‑time, on‑site role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, NY State licensure, and at least two years of experience; ASCP certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology (or equivalent).
• New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure from the New York Education department.

Responsibilities

In addition to technical responsibilities, you will assume some supervision and coordination of the activities of the laboratory personnel in the performance of quantitative and qualitative test. Here, you will have the ability to train and guide laboratory technologist, participate in problem-solving processes and maintain quality assurance and quality control standards, among other responsibilities.

This is a full-time day shift position 8:00am-4:00pm including rotating weekends and holidays located at NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell campus.
