Job summary

BP is seeking a Senior Technologist to lead field trial efforts and support new business development across the Americas. You will provide technical leadership, coordinate trials, and interact with multiple teams to enable product claims and improvements.

The role requires an engineering/science degree, fluent English, and extensive lubricant knowledge. Travel up to 25% and a hybrid office/remote work model are expected.

Qualifications

• Science or engineering degree or equivalent.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Experience in lubricant development and formulation modification/support.
• Broad knowledge of lubricant products, composition, manufacture and application.
• Ability to collaborate across sales, marketing, supply chain and R&D.

Responsibilities

• Lead field trial projects and support for new business development.
• Provide central technical support to product areas and trials.
• Communicate progress, claims capabilities and product needs.
• Manage field trial issues, fluid management and site execution.
• Coach less experienced colleagues and lead cross-CLT incidents.
