Job summary

Bosch Building Technologies North America is seeking a Sr Technician - Security / Service to review, understand, and implement installation blueprints and BOM-driven plans from Project Managers and Sales Teams to complete installations. You will install, program, commission, and maintain electronic security systems to meet client expectations and safety standards.

Work includes leading a small team on site, training junior technicians, and coordinating with customers to ensure smooth project

• PLT License required.
• 3+ years prior experience in a technical role within the Security Systems Integration industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid Driver's License with clean abstract.
• Ability to use hand and specialty tools associated with the industry.
• Ability to lift 50lbs consistently.
• Able to work independently.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Installing and servicing electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV and intrusion alarms.
• Pre-wiring, installing, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Prepares and executes Acceptance Testing Plans that meet contract, client and future service needs.
• Assist in system design and layout.
• Provide customer with training for proper system usage, and respond to technical inquiries.
• Relationship building with clients and prospects for future opportunities.
• Administrative duties including project updates to Project Managers, completing and filing all project documentation.
• Support, lead, and mentor team members.
• Design systems and layout.
• Maintain a high level of safety and professionalism.
• Lead projects at a site level, manage a team of junior technicians as necessary.
• Work at required heights utilizing ladders, scaffolding, lifts, or other.
• Work in confined spaces as necessary.
• Perform other tasks as required

Job Summary: As a Sr Technician - Security / Service with Bosch Building Technologies North America, you will collaboratively review, understand, analyze, and implement installation blueprints and plans from Project Managers and Sales Teams to complete installations. This role requires the ability and know how to properly complete the installation, understand and follow the BOM, and be capable ofmaking adjustmentsor finding alternative solutions as needed to complete installations to client satisfaction.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, work on job sites, may be required to travel to and from job site locations, may work in a typical office environment, and is occasionally exposed to construction equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Confined space entry may be required. High work may be required.
