Position Summary

Walmart is expanding its workforce and is actively recruiting for a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. This role involves supporting and overseeing repairs of refrigeration and HVAC equipment within Walmart facilities using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, and other equipment.

What you'll do

You will maintain and repair Walmart's Refrigeration HVAC equipment, support store operations, document repair activities, respond to emergency maintenance, and ensure safety and compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations. The role requires lifting up to 75 pounds, working at heights, and using various tools.

Minimum Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
• EPA Type I/II or Universal Certification for Refrigerant handling
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of a 2-year HVAC/R technical or vocational program or an AAS in A/C and Refrigeration
• Experience with Glycol and CO2 systems
• Excellent driving record
