Job summary

FCC Environmental Services seeks a Fleet Maintenance Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain our fleet of trucks and trailers. You will perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and ensure safety and reliability across our service vehicles.

The role requires collaborating with the repair team, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to DOT and OSHA regulations to keep fleet operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs on trucks and trailers.
• Conducts preventative maintenance on service trucks, including inspections, tire rotation, and oil changes.
• Collaborates with the repair team to diagnose problems and plan repairs.
• Maintains records of each repair performed on vehicles.
• Repairs, modifies, and performs preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles.
• Completes required preventive maintenance for operation equipment.
• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical malfunctions.
• Inspects fleet vehicles for DOT compliance including brake maintenance.
• Completes daily reporting as required.
• Maintains inventories of equipment, parts, and supplies.
• Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by analyzing data and trends.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Adheres to safe work practices to comply with all Company, DOT and OSHA regulations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers.
• Conducts regular preventative maintenance on service trucks, including inspection, tire rotation, and oil changes.
• Collaborates with the repair team to diagnose problems with vehicles and plan repairs.
• Maintains accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles.
• Responsible for repairing, modifying, and performing preventative maintenance on applicable fleet vehicles.
• Responsible for all maintenance to the operation of equipment by completing all required preventive maintenance requirements.
• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical malfunctions.
• Inspects fleet vehicles to ensure that all vehicles are DOT compliant including brake maintenance.
• Completes all required daily reporting as required.
• Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level.
• Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Adheres to strict safe work practices to comply with all Company, DOT and OSHA regulations.
