A stable manufacturing company in Pomona, CA is hiring a Bilingual English/Spanish Maintenance Mechanic for a direct-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a hands-on industrial maintenance professional with strong electrical troubleshooting skills and experience supporting production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on industrial production equipment.
• Maintain and repair equipment such as roll-forming machines, press brakes, metal-forming equipment, shears, slitters, punch presses, conveyors, welding machines, and auxiliary production equipment.
• Read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings while using multimeters and diagnostic tools to identify faults and confirm completed repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance, including inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and replacement of worn components.
• Repair or fabricate machine parts, guards, brackets, and fixtures as needed to support safe and efficient operations.
• Document maintenance activity, parts used, follow-up needs, and follow lockout/tagout and workplace safety procedures.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with occasional overtime.
• Position type: Direct hire.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repair work to minimize equipment downtime.
• Support production operations by maintaining safe, reliable machinery and equipment.
• Travel to other nearby facilities as needed to provide maintenance support.
• At least 2 years of industrial maintenance mechanic experience.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills in a manufacturing or industrial equipment environment.
• Experience working with three-phase motors, control circuits, sensors, switches, relays, contactors, and variable frequency drives.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Working knowledge of gearboxes, bearings, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, multimeters, and electrical testing equipment.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
• Ability to work around operating machinery, stand and walk throughout the shift, and lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
• Safety-focused work style with the ability to follow lockout/tagout procedures and established maintenance practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PLC troubleshooting.
• Welding or machining experience.
• Experience maintaining sheet metal manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with roll-forming machines, press brakes, shears, slitters, punch presses, conveyors, and related production equipment.
