Job summary

Qualifications

• Technical or Military training in electronics or mechanical engineering.
• 10+ years in equipment maintenance, preferably semiconductor manufacturing.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, piping diagrams and flow charts.
• Experience with analog and digital circuit troubleshooting.
• Soldering/desoldering components on PCBs.
• Troubleshooting and repairing cable harnesses.
• Testing/evaluating components with analog or digital multimeter.
• Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, upgrade, and maintain manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues using manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
• Maintain records on manufacturers’ notices, upgrades, and safety issues.
• Study equipment performance and reliability to optimize uptime.
• Establish programs to increase uptime and address problems in the manufacturing process.
• Provide technical support to production operators and process engineering groups.
• Define and write preventative maintenance schedules.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and cleanroom procedures.
