Job summary

Texas A&M University is seeking technicians (III/IV or Senior I) to maintain and support nanofabrication equipment on the College Station campus. Primary duties include using manuals, online resources, and OEM support to keep systems operational with minimal downtime, following SOPs in a Class 100 cleanroom.

Minimum qualifications vary by level, from a Bachelor’s degree with related experience to four years of related work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education/experience.
• Two years of related experience for Technician IV.
• Four years of related experience for Senior Technician I.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support facilities, utility equipment, and nanofabrication processing equipment.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on nanofabrication tools.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers and OEMs on complex equipment interventions.
• Train and guide junior team members and technicians.
• Adhere to SOPs and cleanroom cleanliness protocols.
