Adecco Staffing is working with a leading engineering and technology company in Bedford, MA to bring on an experienced Electromechanical Engineering Technician. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with engineers and scientists in a hands‑on, highly technical environment supporting prototype assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and rework.
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
Pay: $40.00 – $45.00/hour depending on experience

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with engineers and scientists in a hands‑on, highly technical environment supporting prototype assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and rework.

Pay: $40.00 – $45.00/hour depending on experience
Location: Bedford, MA
· Troubleshoot, repair, build, and rework electromechanical assemblies using electrical and mechanical drawings and specifications
· Assemble and rework complex electromechanical components, circuitry, and engineering prototypes
· Set up, adjust, calibrate, align, and modify electrical and mechanical components
· Build test fixtures and set up experiments to evaluate prototype reliability and performance
· Operate laboratory and machine shop tools to modify or fabricate parts and assemblies
· Identify design or performance issues, collect data, and communicate findings to engineering teams
· Use a variety of test and measurement equipment, including DVMs, oscilloscopes, data loggers, gauges, dynamometers, and flow sensors
· Research and procure parts, tools, and test equipment as needed
· Maintain laboratory areas, tools, and equipment to ensure proper availability and reliability
· Communicate project status, technical issues, and findings to team leads and managers
· Provide technical direction to other support personnel when appropriate
· Prioritize tasks according to project objectives while working with minimal supervision
· Technical diploma, vocational high school certificate, or equivalent
· 7+ years of experience in a comparable engineering, laboratory, manufacturing, or technical environment preferred
· Experience working with sophisticated electromechanical assemblies and prototypes
· Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical engineering drawings
· Experience creating and following technical documentation and work instructions
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office
· Experience using electrical and mechanical test equipment
· Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
· Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to work effectively with engineers, scientists, and other technical professionals in a fast‑paced environment

Pay Details: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour
