Job summary

BTS Software Solutions is seeking a Technical Writer 3 to translate technical information and write and edit technical documents in support of customer operations in Annapolis Junction, MD.

The role requires eight years of experience as a technical writer in programs of similar scope and a technical bachelor's degree. A master's degree can substitute for two years of experience; TS/SCI with Poly clearance is required by a Maryland customer.

Qualifications

• Eight years of TW experience in programs of similar scope and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline required.
• Master's degree may substitute for two years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain operations docs, user guides, and manuals.
• Write technical copy for various documents from engineering sources.
• Coordinate layout and design of documents.
• Work with developers to produce documentation and training materials.
• Produce defense acquisition documentation and end-user manuals.
