Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Technical Writer to join the Systems Integration team, supporting a DoW customer and prototypes for long-range fires. You will draft, maintain, and oversee technical documentation, governance artifacts, and baselines to support operational and strategic decisions.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience, TSSCI clearance, and experience with governance documentation and POA&Ms.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of experience.
Active TSSCI clearance.
Experience handling version control of documents.
Experience creating technical documentation for DoW or Intelligence programs.
Experience creating or maintaining system manuals and documentation.
Professional Expertise: developing governance documents such as SEMP, CMP, or similar.
Project Management: familiarity with POA&Ms for scheduling and delivery.

Responsibilities

Governance and Baseline Documentation: Maintain and update governance documents (SEMP, CMP, SOW) per standards.
Technical Documentation: Develop, revise, and manage manuals, guidelines, diagrams, and workflows.
Collaboration: Work with engineers and experts to gather data for tailored materials.
Compliance: Ensure references/docs adhere to policies and regulatory requirements; QA for completeness and relevance.
Project Coordination: Create and manage Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms).
Documentation Management: Organize repositories; implement version control and traceability.
Continuous Improvement: Identify gaps and improve documentation and governance processes.
