Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a skilled technical writer to transform data into charts and reports for decision making. The role requires a DoD security clearance and experience with complex document editing and structured documentation standards.

You will collaborate with production, technical teams, and leadership, attending meetings and producing clear manuals, user guides, and technical documents while adhering to DoD formatting requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of applicable experience; a Master's degree with 3 years of experience or 12 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
• Active DOD Security Clearance.
• MIL STD 40051 experience.
• Experience with XML, Arbor text and/or SGML.
• Possess the skill and ability to perform complex tasks with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Transform data into charts, reports and information that drive critical decision making.
• Frequent collaboration with internal company personnel and leadership on projects.
• Develop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.
• Edit documents to ensure compliance with style, design, layout, and spelling requirements.
• Attend technical meetings to capture discussion in minutes or other documentation.
