Job summary

SAIC seeks an experienced Lead Technical Writer / Proposal Coordinator to support a classified program in Herndon, VA. You will lead end-to-end proposal efforts, coordinating cross-functional resources and ensuring compliant, compelling responses for opportunities in the Intelligence Community environment.

The role requires hands-on leadership of proposals, strong technical writing, and collaboration with BD/Capture, technical SMEs, and recruiting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of related experience; Master's with 8+ years; PhD/JD with 5+ years.
Experience in IC government proposal development & management.
Proficiency with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

Lead proposal efforts from release to final submission with coordination and content integration.
Serve as Proposal Coordinator and Lead Writer for assigned proposals, managing kickoff activities, schedules, milestones, and final deliverables.
Develop, write, edit, and integrate technical, management, staffing, and other required proposal content.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop complete and competitive responses.
Coordinate candidate identification, incumbent research, skills-matrix development, and interview activities as needed.
Liaise with BD/Capture for assigned pursuits, providing program information and technical inputs.
