Job summary
Arrow Electronics seeks a Senior Technical Writer to create and maintain comprehensive documentation for embedded/IoT hardware products. You will work with engineering, product, support, and QA teams to capture technical details and translate them into clear manuals, guides, and references.
You will drive documentation planning, governance, and localization efforts, mentoring junior writers and improving standards.
Qualifications
- Experience writing for Embedded/IoT hardware products.
- Strong knowledge of firmware/software development tools.
- Ability to translate complex concepts into clear user-facing docs.
- Experience with cross-functional collaboration and offshore teams.
- Familiarity with content management and authoring tools.
Responsibilities
- Develop and edit manuals, installation guides, and reference materials.
- Glean product information from engineers and designers to ensure accuracy.
- Create diagrams and visuals to explain complex concepts.
- Coordinate with offshore teams and manage priorities.
- Ensure compliance with standards and quality guidelines.
