Job summary

Blue Water Thinking in the United States seeks an experienced Tech Writer/Editor Senior to support VA CCPI data analytics. You will translate complex healthcare information into clear, readable documentation for technical and non-technical audiences, working with analysts, clinicians, and project teams.

Responsibilities include preparing manuals, reports, training materials, and proposals, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and proper terminology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• “8 years of professional experience in technical writing, technical editing, communications, documentation, or related field.”
• Strong experience writing and editing a broad range of professional and technical materials.
• Experience with computer-based systems and documentation tools.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical information for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and proofread materials such as reports, regulations, articles, newsletters, magazines, news releases, training materials, brochures, interpretive handbooks, pamphlets, guidebooks, scholarly works, reference materials, speeches, scripts, and other customer deliverables.
• Gather, analyze, and compose technical information required for user manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, reports, and related documentation.
• Edit functional descriptions, system specifications, user manuals, special reports, and other customer deliverables to ensure accuracy and clarity.
• Translate complex technical information into clear, concise, readable documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with technical staff, subject matter experts, analysts, project managers, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders to collect and validate information.
