Contiem, Inc. seeks a Senior Technical Writer to lead documentation across our client portfolio. The role requires 15+ years of experience, strong writing skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while adapting to varying client standards.

You will collaborate with SMEs, project managers, and the writing team, create and update manuals and online help, ensure accuracy, mentor junior writers, and drive user-focused documentation using CMS tools.

Qualificações

• 15+ years of technical writing experience.
• Aptitude for understanding mechanical and electronic products.
• Experience gathering data from SMEs and engineers.
• Experience using oXygen/Arbortext/XMetal.
• Experience writing in DITA/XML.
• Knowledge of standards for assembly, installation, operation documentation.
• Strong interpersonal and business communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficient with XML/HTML/CSS.

Responsabilidades

• Take a big-picture view of content and determine the information model.
• Collaborate with SMEs, PMs, and writers to align with standards.
• Lead documentation projects from planning through publication.
• Create/update manuals, IOMs, SOPs, user guides, and online help.
• Ensure documents are accurate and follow client/Contiem standards.
• Proofread peers’ work and incorporate feedback.
• Utilize CMS to create and manage documentation.
• Advocate for user experience and usable design.
• Mentor junior writers and develop team skills.
• Learn new skills and implement new practices as required.
• Be detail-oriented and follow best practices.
