Work with product managers and engineers to translate complex concepts into clear, accurate developer docs and lead major documentation projects while mentoring others. Develop AI-powered automation to optimize writing processes and measure content performance for global audiences and drive process

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in CS/Technical Writing or related field; 2 years in job or related occupation.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS/Technical Writing or related field; 5 years progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job or related occupation as equivalent to the Master’s degree and 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain AWS services documentation, information architecture, content standards, and publishing workflows.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and service teams to translate complex concepts into clear, accurate documentation and lead major documentation projects.
• Mentor other technical writers and review their work for quality and consistency; partner with localization teams for global audiences.
• Engage with customers, gather data and feedback, and report insights around content performance with analytics.
• Develop AI-powered automation to optimize documentation workflows and integrate generative AI tools into writing processes.
