Remitly, Inc. is seeking a Senior Program Manager – Technical in Seattle. This hybrid role leads end-to-end programs across the money-movement network, reporting to the Senior Manager of Program Management.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of program or technical program management experience in FinTech, payments, money movement, or risk/loss operations.
• Experience leading end-to-end programs – defining strategy, building the operating model, and delivering measurable outcomes.
• Data-driven mindset: defining opportunity sizing, prioritizing, and partnering with analytics on models.
• At least beginner-level SQL proficiency.
• Experience designing processes, SOPs, and workflows.
• Bias toward scalable, automated solutions, with interest in applying AI/LLM tooling to reduce manual effort.
• Experience influencing cross-functional partners without direct authority.
• High proactive ownership and strategic judgment to scale programs across products.

Responsibilities

• Oversee high-risk programs end to end with ownership of execution and outcomes.
• Define multi-year improvement strategy – loss thresholds, risk tiers, and escalation frameworks.
• Own the company-level goal for delivering dollar savings and reducing transaction cost; track progress.
• Design operating model for the program including investigation workflows and recovery mechanisms.
• Create frameworks, SOPs, and escalation flows for quality issues and losses.
• Be data-driven in opportunity sizing and prioritization; partner with Analytics to improve loss model.
• Leverage AI to build scalable preventive solutions and reduce manual effort.
• Coordinate cross-functional projects and define prioritization and progress.
• Lead MBRs and executive reviews with clear reporting to leadership.
