Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Senior Lead for Technical Studies to join the Air Force, Space and Intelligence Business Group, providing systems engineering and advisory services to a growing Government IC customer. The role centers on coordinating studies for requirements, design, and deployment of new protection capabilities in space operations, with SME-level responsibility across multiple space domains.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• 14+ years of experience in a technical field for Bachelors, 12+ for Masters, 9+ for PhD.
• 10+ years of experience in the space domain.
• Understanding of NRO missions and space vehicle acquisition processes.
• Broad understanding of IC/DoD space communities.
• Subject Matter Expert in at least one Space Domain area.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead execution of studies for the customer.
• Manage and shape studies program to meet evolving needs.
• Collaborate with program offices and others to execute studies.
• Assist customer in all studies-related technical activities.
• Support engagement with senior leadership on study results.
• Assist with long-term strategic planning for studies.
• Organize and manage studies information, data, metadata, and results.
• Perform technical review and quality control of analytical products.
• Assess impact of study results on the broader NRO Enterprise.
• Assist in managing external relationships between Studies program stakeholders.
