Job summary

Employer.com, a consumer technology platform, seeks a Technical Sourcer to drive complex engineering searches by activating passive candidates. This is a six-month, U.S.-based contract position with a pay rate of $75 per hour.

You will partner with engineering leadership on market intelligence, talent pool sizing, and sourcing strategies, building pipelines through market analysis and targeted outreach while advising hiring teams on talent availability and competitive dynamics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical sourcing or recruiting experience.
• Demonstrated success hiring senior, staff, and principal engineers and engineering managers in competitive markets.
• Strong technical aptitude to translate requirements into sourcing signals and candidate criteria.
• Expert-level boolean search and advanced sourcing methods.

Responsibilities

• Understand role requirements, technical stack, and ideal candidate profiles; convert into sourcing criteria.
• Size talent pools and assess hiring feasibility with TAM research.
• Create target account lists by analyzing competitors and tech stacks.
• Build and run customized sourcing strategies per requisition using boolean/x-ray/GitHub.
• Identify and engage talent and collaborate with recruiters and leaders to scale teams.
• Write personalized outreach explaining client challenges and candidate fit.
• Own the candidate experience from outreach to recruiter handoff with clear communication.
• Represent the client at events and build long-term talent communities.
• Maintain data hygiene and track pipeline metrics to optimize sourcing ROI.
