Job summary

Northrop Grumman's Propulsion Systems group in Utah seeks a Staff Technical Services Project Manager (Level 5) to lead Operations Program Management at Promontory, Clearfield and Magna locations. The OPM will drive product family value streams, including design, manufacturing and testing, to meet cost and schedule targets.

The role requires a technical engineering degree with extensive program management experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in MS Project and Office tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Engineering or related field with 12 years of experience in engineering, operations, program management, production, safety and product lifecycle
• Master’s degree with 10 years of experience in engineering, operations, program management and production, safety and product lifecycle
• Exceptional written and oral communications skills
• Proficient MS Project, Excel, Power Point and Word skills
• Ability to work under limited supervision and complete projects on time and on budget

Responsibilities

• Lead all activities associated with a product family within the value stream.
• Own and manage the value stream element from requirements to delivery to the downstream customer.
• Staff the team across design, S&MA, process engineering, supply chain and operations.
• Coordinate engineering and processing disciplines and manage resources in a matrix organization.
• Ensure continuous improvement and adherence to scope, schedule and cost.
