Job summary

Polaris Inc. is seeking a Technical Service Specialist (Commercial Vehicles) in Medina, MN.

You will serve as a customer-facing technical problem-solver for Polaris Commercial customers, guiding warranty and goodwill decisions and coordinating cross-functional resolution. You will own escalated issues, work with dealers and partners, and apply hands-on diagnostic skills to resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in automotive, powersports, diesel, electrical, engineering technology, or a related field.
• Five+ years of experience in technical service or a customer-facing technical environment.
• Strong diagnostic capability with hands-on vehicle systems and diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted technical resource for Commercial products with knowledge of vehicle systems and warranty processes.
• Guide customers and dealers through diagnosis, repair direction, and fault isolation for complex concerns.
• Own escalated situations from intake through resolution and drive next steps.
• Coordinate across service, warranty, parts, logistics, and other teams to deliver a unified response.
• Support root-cause analysis and communicate findings and decisions clearly.
