Job description

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and technically driven SEO professional to join our dynamic eCommerce team and own organic search growth across Acme's digital properties. This role will lead the technical foundation of our SEO program — site architecture, crawlability, indexation, structured data, page performance, and the rapidly evolving landscape of AI-driven search. Working closely with engineering, content, and eCommerce teams, this position will set the technical direction for organic search and translate it into work that ships, drives qualified traffic, and grows revenue across our catalog of tens of thousands of products.

About Acme Tools

Acme Tools was founded as Acme Electric Motor in 1948 and continues to be a family‑owned operation with ten locations in North Dakota, Minnesota, and Iowa. In 1999, Tool Crib of the North, Acme's catalog and internet division, was acquired by Amazon.com. After rebranding as Acme Tools, we are now one of the premier retailers of tools and equipment, both in‑store and online. We pride ourselves on having a growing, innovative eCommerce department with a start‑up like atmosphere, which will allow you to create and execute strategies with freedom and approach projects in creative ways.
