Backblaze is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to join the Security team and lead enterprise security programs. You will drive portfolio management and operating model practices, coordinating across engineering, product, legal, and external vendors.

The role emphasizes defining program goals, maintaining dashboards, and ensuring security controls are implemented on schedule. Strong communication and risk management are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Info Security, Engineering, or equivalent; Master’s a plus.
• 8+ years in technical program mgmt, with 3+ years security programs.
• Strong security domain knowledge: vulnerability mgmt, IAM, cloud security, IR.
• Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, GDPR, HIPAA, FedRAMP.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of enterprise security programs from initiation to delivery.
• Communicate security program status clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain detailed program plans, timelines, budgets, and resources.
