Job summary

MITRE is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to join our talent acquisition team. This role leads full lifecycle recruiting for technical roles, partnering with hiring managers to understand needs and align on timelines.

You will manage candidate pipelines, engage passive talent, and guide offer discussions to ensure a high-quality candidate experience. The position requires at least three days on-site weekly and supports government-focused programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's; or a PhD with relevant experience.
• Experience managing full lifecycle recruiting from intake through offer and close.
• Proven ability to handle high-volume or complex requisitions.
• Strong sourcing and engagement of passive talent.
• Ability to build relationships with hiring managers and provide consultative recruiting guidance.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
• Experience using recruiting data and market information to guide approaches.
• Experience with Workday and Phenom.

Responsibilities

• Own full lifecycle recruiting from intake and sourcing through interview, selection, offer, and pre-onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand position requirements, talent needs, hiring priorities, and timelines.
• Develop and execute recruiting and sourcing approaches for assigned requisitions based on talent availability and hiring needs.
• Source and engage active and passive candidates using recruiting tools, professional networks, referrals, events, campaigns, and social platforms.
• Screen and assess candidates against position requirements and provide informed recommendations to hiring teams.
• Advise hiring managers on talent availability, candidate pipelines, interview and selection approaches, and recruiting timelines.
