Job summary

Vast is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to own full‑cycle recruiting for the Haven Satellite program in Long Beach. You will partner with executives to define role requirements, execute targeted sourcing, and drive a fast-paced hiring process for hardware, avionics, and software disciplines.

You will manage pipelines, lead offer discussions, and report hiring metrics to leadership, while ensuring a strong candidate experience and alignment with Vast’s mission and growth strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of full‑cycle technical recruiting experience, including hardware or aerospace engineering roles.
• Strong domain knowledge in at least one: thermal, avionics, power, propulsion, GNC, flight software, or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Own full‑cycle recruiting from intake through offer acceptance across multiple open roles and disciplines for the satellite program.
• Partner with hiring managers and executives to define role requirements, interview plans, and timelines.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify top and passive candidates in aerospace and related hardware fields.
• Build knowledge across technical disciplines to screen candidates and discuss work with them.
• Manage candidate pipelines and drive an efficient interview process.
• Lead offer discussions and help close candidates while maintaining a strong candidate experience.
• Track recruiting metrics and report progress toward hiring goals to leadership.
