Job summary

Rivian VW Group Technologies is a joint venture focused on software-defined vehicles, cloud and connectivity. We develop native, web and cloud assets and architect scalable in-house SaaS solutions. The team collaborates across HIL and Embedded groups to roadmap next‑gen applications.

We value strong Python, React, NextJS, and TypeScript skills, plus experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes in cloud-native environments. This is a full-time on-site role in Irvine, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 4+ years of professional industry experience in web development, validation, or automation roles.
• Prior expertise in Automotive, Robotics, Embedded Systems or Hardware Testing is required.
• Strong Python experience and a solid foundation in Object-Oriented Programming.
• Professional experience with React, NextJS, TypeScript, and modern CSS frameworks.
• Familiarity and prior experience managing cloud-native environments (AWS, Docker, k8s).
• Experience configuring and querying both NoSQL (MongoDB) and Relational (SQL) databases.

Responsibilities
