Graphon Labs is building the multimodal memory layer to enable easy search and analysis of documents, images, video, and audio. We are hiring a senior technical recruiter to own end-to-end hiring for engineering, ML, and research, partnering with founders to grow a world-class team.

You will source, run process, close candidates, and set the bar with hiring managers. This is a hands-on, impact-driven role in San Francisco with meaningful equity and comprehensive benefits.

Graphon Labs is building the multimodal memory layer to enable easy search and analysis of documents, images, video, and audio. We do this by using our proprietary technology to automatically build a graph over your data that extracts out the key structure needed to deliver fast and accurate searches at inference time. Using graph analysis techniques based on the study of graphons, our system creates nodes and edges at a more abstract and powerful level of understanding to help link related information.

We are a lean, experienced team that values ownership, pragmatism, and technical excellence. We have raised a significant seed round from top-tier VCs and strategic foundation model providers to scale this new paradigm.

About the Role:

You will be Graphon’s first senior technical recruiter and own hiring for engineering, research, and technical roles end to end. You will not be a coordinator. You will source, run process, close, and tell us when the bar or the process is wrong.

You partner directly with the founders and hiring managers. You learn the product well enough to explain graph-based multimodal memory, retrieval, and on-prem deployment to a staff engineer who has three other offers.

You will:

• Own full-cycle recruiting for engineering, ML, and research roles: intake, sourcing, screens, loops, offers, and close
• Build the pipeline from scratch. Most of the people we want are not applying
• Calibrate the bar with hiring managers. Write scorecards. Kill loops that waste candidate time
• Run offers: comp bands, competing offers, equity conversations, and founder closes
• Stand up the basics: Greenhouse (or equivalent), sourcing tools, a simple weekly hiring review, and a candidate experience we would want ourselves
• Hire for hard roles: multimodal ML, systems, infrastructure, applied research, and the occasional GTM or ops seat as we grow
• Report what is actually happening: pipeline health, pass-through, time in stage, and where we are losing people

About you:

• Hired for ML, research, robotics, or infrastructure teams
• Worked at seed or Series A, where there is no talent brand yet
• Closed candidates against big-tech offers with a smaller equity story

Location:

• This role is based in San Francisco and must regularly commute to our beautiful office
• Base salary range: $150,000 – $280,000 (depending on experience and level)
• Meaningful equity with the opportunity to own a real stake in a category-defining company
