Job summary

Sierra Space Corporation is seeking a Technical Quality Assurance Inspector III to perform thorough inspections of manufactured goods during and after production. You will interpret complex prints, dimensions, and wiring diagrams to approve or reject assemblies, ensuring compliance with NASA and IPC standards.

You will document results, support audits, and mentor junior inspectors in a regulated aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Typically 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Progress towards NASA and IPC industry standard certifications.
• Completion of basic GD&T training.
• Understanding of technical schematics and documents.
• Understanding of electrical wiring concepts.
• MS Office suite tools, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
• Ability to interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerance.
• Experience drafting work instructions and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect manufacturing goods during and after production, visual, dimensional and electrical checks.
• Interpret complex drawings and approve or reject assemblies per standards and certifications.
• Document inspection results and communicate findings to stakeholders; support audits.
• Draft work instructions and SOPs; mentor Level 1–2 inspectors.
