Job summary

Anduril Industries, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Publications Manager in Costa Mesa, CA to lead a team of technical writers and deliver accurate, updated user documentation across products for government customers.

You will partner with engineers, operations, and subject matter experts to understand products, map user workflows, and close gaps in documentation. The role emphasizes building scalable documentation processes, contributing to the writing toolkit, and delivering on-time

Qualifications

• 7+ years of demonstrated excellence generating technical documentation.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering documentation.
• Experience with authoring tools including RapidAuthor and Arbortext.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Autonomy with competing priorities and tight deadlines; strong project-management skills.
• Passion for excellent documentation and user experience.
• Must be eligible for Secret and higher security clearance (US).
• Willingness to relocate onsite in Costa Mesa, CA.
• Pre-employment and random substance screening as required by the Company.

Responsibilities

• Generate, review, and edit documentation that is user-focused and works with engineering to deliver task- and standard-centric documentation.
• Contribute to the technical writing toolkit, including style guides, lifecycle, and tool procurement specifications for authoring and publishing tooling.
• Evaluate and prioritize tasks to support product documentation and deliver results with a data-driven approach.
• Communicate and manage expectations; note risks, identify mitigations, and allocate resources.
• Help build a culture of technical documentation by creating processes and training for others to contribute content and mature the product documentation framework.
