Job summary

Barrios Technology in Houston, TX is seeking a Technical Project Scheduler III to support Human Spaceflight programs. You will develop and maintain technical schedules, coordinate with leads, and provide schedule risk assessments.

The role requires a BS/BA and 10 years of experience, proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project, advanced Excel, and strong communication. You will generate IMS schedules and reports to support program objectives.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree and 10 years of applicable experience are required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with customers and team.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a dynamic program.
  • Strong data gathering, analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and scheduling software (Primavera P6 or MS Project).
  • Advanced MS Excel understanding and IMS scheduling capability.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain technical schedules with input from leads and PMs.
  • Conduct schedule analysis to ensure proper logic and critical path reporting.
  • Provide guidance on schedule recoveries and workarounds for decisions.
  • Perform Schedule Risk Assessments and advise NASA management.
  • Track progress and create custom reports and metrics.
  • Attend meetings and present schedule status and metrics.
  • Coordinate cost and schedule integration with budgets and resources.
  • Assess impacts from changes to cost, schedule, or baselines.
  • Perform other duties as required.
