Job summary

Gradiant is seeking a seasoned Technical Project Manager / Project Engineering Manager with deep water treatment process knowledge. The role requires leading engineering design for large-scale water and wastewater projects, coordinating cross-functional teams and interfaces with the India TPM center and local project teams.

You will guide engineering staff, ensure schedule and budget compliance, and drive improvements in quality and efficiency while collaborating with clients and fabricators

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical or Environmental).
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in water or Process industry.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience managing cross-functional engineering teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD and 3D models.
• Knowledge of API, ASME, AWS, NACE and AWWA codes.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; able to travel.

Responsibilities

• Engineering and design execution for water and wastewater projects globally.
• Lead Project Engineering Manager tasks within the engineering department.
• Mentor engineering staff and lead knowledge sharing sessions.
• Ensure engineering is completed on time within budget.
• Develop procedures to improve quality, efficiency and repeatability.
• Perform value engineering, feasibility studies and tech analyses.
• Review quotations and external fabrication drawings for compliance.
• Coordinate with PMs, QA/QC, fabricators and Construction Manager.
• Oversee general arrangement, piping, skid and module drawings.
• Interface with clients on technical aspects and participate in design reviews.
• Support commissioning and warranty claims from a technical perspective.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental policies are followed.
