Job summary

SMX is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our team in support of a Modernized Data Science Platform for a Federal customer. The role focuses on leading large data analytics development teams, aligning business requirements with scalable technical capabilities, and working closely with DoD stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science is required.
• 10 years of related work experience managing technical development teams of 10+ resources using Agile methodology.
• Security Clearance: U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret security clearance are required.
• Experience with Data Science projects and multiple Data Science tools.
• Experience architecting enterprise reporting solutions for large organizations.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 10+ developers and functional resources to deliver end-to-end Enterprise Business Analytics solution.
• Work closely with the client on designing the Enterprise Analytics Vision and Strategy.
• Assign and track day-to-day tasks of the team members to ensure deliverables are completed on time.
• Support the client as a Sr. Technical Architect in the design and delivery of the Enterprise Analytics solutions.
• Participate in requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and business process improvement activities.
• Work cross-functionally with technical teams, business stakeholders, and Federal customer representatives.
