Job summary

New Directions Technologies, Inc. at Point Mugu, CA, seeks a senior Technical Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams delivering EW targets and simulation systems. You will own the project lifecycle and drive schedule, budget, and risk management to ensure on-time, on-budget performance.

The role requires US citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance; 10+ years in technical project management within aerospace/defense and experience with SETR, CM, and lifecycle processes.

Qualifications

• Requires MS degree or a BS degree with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in a technical discipline.
• Have 3+ years’ experience leading the planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects in the aerospace, defense, and related industries in a project management capacity.
• Have experience and clear understanding and management of complex system/component development cycle from requirements definition, SETR design reviews, fabrication, integration, test, etc.
• Clear understanding of engineering documentation associated with SETR process.
• Experience with Project Scheduling software (e.g. MS Project, Primavera P6, Smartsheet).
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams to specify, develop, integrate, test, operate, and sustain EW targets and simulation systems.
• Develop and manage project plans, scope, WBS, and master schedule.
• Budget ownership and cost control for labor and materials; schedule risk mitigation.
• Identify, analyze, and mitigate risks; monitor progress and report to stakeholders.
• Maintain project dashboards, status reports, and communications with customers and partners.
