Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced Technical Project Lead for the Jammer Technique Optimization (JATO) team at Point Mugu, CA. You will lead EW/RF engineering projects, drive experiments, and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to meet program objectives.

The role requires strong leadership, a solid engineering background, and the ability to travel for requirements collaboration and testing across lab, ground, and field environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• US Citizenship required.
• Active SECRET clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive completion of complex Electronic Warfare projects with modeling, simulation, and lab/flight tests.
• Define goals, break down projects, schedule, identify resources.
• Lead engineering teams and coordinate cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Conduct risk assessments and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Develop experiments and test plans linked to requirements.
• Perform lab and field experiments to assess subsystems.
• Produce documentation: specs, test plans/reports, verification docs.
• Communicate results and requirements to management and customers.
• Travel domestically or internationally as required.
