Qualifications

  • 5+ years as Technical Project Manager in software automotive environments.
  • Strong SDLC, Agile/Scrum knowledge and delivery best practices.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence and Codebeamer tooling.
  • Able to manage multiple workstreams, dependencies and risks.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

Our client is seeking a Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead and coordinate complex software development initiatives across cross-functional teams. The TPM will be responsible for driving project execution, managing stakeholder communications, overseeing program governance, and ensuring alignment between business objectives, requirements, engineering delivery, and validation activities. The role requires a strong blend of technical understanding, project management expertise, and requirements management experience within a fast-paced automotive and software-defined vehicle environment.

About the Role

This project focuses on delivering next‑generation in‑vehicle digital experiences through a combination of Android/AOSP‑based In‑Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) applications and QNX/Linux‑based Instrument Cluster software. As part of the requirements engineering team, you will play a key role in defining, documenting, and maintaining clear, consistent, and traceable requirements across a wide range of vehicle functions.

Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Systems Engineering, Software Development, QA, and Validation.
  • Manage project scope, schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies, and issue resolution.
  • Drive project governance, status reporting, and stakeholder communications.
  • Facilitate alignment between business objectives, product requirements, and engineering execution.
  • Support requirements elicitation, analysis, refinement, prioritization, and traceability activities.
  • Ensure requirements are clearly documented and tracked throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Monitor project health, KPIs, and delivery metrics, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Lead project review meetings, planning sessions, and risk management activities.
  • Remove blockers and drive cross-functional decision-making to maintain delivery commitments.
  • Support release planning and ensure readiness for key program milestones.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, preferably software automotive industry experience.
Required Skills
  • A delivery-focused Technical Project Manager with strong technical acumen and requirements management experience who can effectively bridge business and engineering teams, drive execution, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure successful delivery of software products in a complex automotive environment.
  • Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile, Scrum, and delivery best practices.
  • Experience working closely with engineering teams and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong requirements management experience, including requirements analysis, documentation, and traceability.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Codebeamer, or similar tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams, dependencies, and competing priorities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in Automotive, EV, Embedded Systems, Connected Vehicle, or Digital Product development is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ASPICE and Systems Engineering processes is a plus.
