GEICO is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager for Workday Financial Management to manage finance technology programs. What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Partner with project sponsors and stakeholders to deliver quality solutions on time and within budget
- Create, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules and documentation
- Identify and mitigate project risks, providing detailed solutions or alternatives
- Report on project progress and key metrics, presenting ideas for further improvement
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration throughout the entire software lifecycle
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in managing large-scale Finance Technology programs
- At least 10 years of experience in Product Management, Project Management, or equivalent
- Strong understanding of accounting processes and management reporting
- Proven program and project management skills with experience coordinating projects across multiple teams
- Working knowledge and experience with ERP solutions such as Workday, PeopleSoft, Oracle Fusion Cloud, Hyperion, or SAP
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience or certification in LEAN principles and practices
- Excellent understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
- Proven ability to influence without direct management authority
- Strong experience using Microsoft ADO and SharePoint
