Job summary

Everyday Electric, a leading energy technology company, seeks a Senior Technical Program Manager to own planning, execution, and health of cross-functional programs across the VPP platform and consumer energy products.

This role reports to the Director of Technical Program Management and requires building frameworks, managing risks, and delivering programs with strong collaboration across Engineering, Product, Design, and business functions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Technical Program Management or Engineering Program Management experience.
• Experience spanning multiple engineering teams.
• Strong technical foundation to pressure-test estimates and engage with senior engineers.
• Track record of aligning across functions without formal authority.
• Clear and direct communicator who translates complexity for executives.
• Experience with consumer-facing software products.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-team programs spanning Engineering, Product, and Design, from scoping through launch and operational handoff.
• Define and maintain planning frameworks, milestone structures, and risk models for predictable delivery.
• Identify and resolve cross-functional dependencies, blockers, and tradeoffs with clear recommendations.
• Partner with Engineering and Product leadership to set roadmap sequencing, resource assumptions, and launch readiness criteria.
• Drive programs through full product lifecycle with focus on launch readiness, post-launch metrics, and handoff to sustaining teams.
• Develop and share operational practices and retrospective learnings to raise TPM execution standards.
• Serve as a decision-support resource for stakeholders by synthesizing complexity into clear options and tradeoffs.
