Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to lead the PMO’s execution of complex, spaceflight‑oriented programs. You will manage scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring customer alignment from pre‑solicitation to launch and ops.

The role demands strong leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality in a safety‑driven culture. You will collaborate with Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to baselining, reporting, and recovery planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, management, or engineering or equivalent years of experience.
• 8+ years of program management and/or program planning in the aerospace industry.
• Experience on Aerospace Development Programs and/or Space Systems.
• Strong understanding DFARs based contracts.
• Ability to earn trust and lead cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Primary point of contact for execution and management of program deliverables, performance to plan, and completion of customer statement of work.
• Manage contractual data requirements lists and deliveries; support mission scope definition and programmatic baselining/budget management; build customer relationships across pre-solicitation through delivery/ops.
• Prioritize weekly and monthly tasking across multiple organizations and functions within the project.
• Lead financial performance of programs and subsystems; oversee budget performance.
• Organize and conduct staff meetings, reviews, and planning cycles; track action items.
• Lead Program Planning & Control, Finance, Procurement, Cost Engineering teams to establish baselines and recovery plans.
• Coordinate with Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, and IT for smooth interfaces and issue reconciliation.
• Represent BU/PL interests on proposals, guiding scope, cost, and resource allocation.
