Job summary

Kratos Space Training & Cyber is seeking a Program Manager in Colorado Springs to lead the development and verification of satellite ground resource management, communication and control projects. The role spans Systems Development, Engineering, Site Construction, Integration and Verification within Kratos Space Federal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field.
• 10+ years of project or program management experience on technical development programs.
• Experience with EVMS, IMS, risk reduction and customer/subcontractor relations.
• Direct experience managing FFP, CPFF/AF/IF, and T&M contracts.
• Experience with scheduling tools and maintaining IMS with a scheduler.
• Experience in managing contractual and technical requirements with customers and subcontractors.
• Experience in writing SOWs and CPSR procurements.

Responsibilities

• Strategically and tactically plan program actions, milestones and success metrics.
• Establish program requirements, budget and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
• Set KPIs and milestones to align budget with task execution.
• Lead risk identification and contingency planning.
• Coordinate highly technical cross-functional engineering teams and IPTs.
• Maintain customer relationships, negotiate contracts and ensure regulatory compliance (FAR).
• Manage subcontractor relations and program coordination, building partnerships.
• Budget and manage Firm-Fixed and Cost-Plus projects with CPSR control.
• Manage baselines and address scope creep; provide technical guidance to customers.
• Collaborate with resource managers to allocate staff and plan capacity.
• Oversee confidential information handling and CPSR procurements.
• Lead proposal efforts and capture Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs).
• Interface with customers to meet requirements and exceed expectations.
• Support IPTs with customer presentations and design reviews.
• Report financial and schedule performance to senior management monthly.
• Travel as needed for meetings and planning sessions.
• Be a strong team player within a matrix organization.
