Job summary

OpenLight is seeking a Technical Project/Program Manager to drive cross-functional engineering and customer programs. You will coordinate schedules, risks, and deliverables across wafer processing, photonic design, testing, and manufacturing partners, ensuring on-time and within-budget execution.

Gain broad exposure to engineering, operations, product management, and suppliers while contributing to high-impact silicon photonics programs and growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field.
• 5+ years of experience coordinating technical engineering projects.
• Experience in silicon photonics, semiconductor wafer fabrication, photonic ICs, or related areas.
• Willingness to travel ~10% as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple technical projects and programs from planning through completion.
• Define objectives, milestones, deliverables, schedules, and resource needs with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules with dependencies and critical paths.
• Track progress and identify schedule, technical, or supplier risks; implement mitigations.
• Conduct regular milestone reviews and technical discussions; document decisions and actions.
• Coordinate across wafer processing, PIC design, layout, PDK, testing, and manufacturing partners.
