Job summary

OpenLight Photonics Inc. is seeking a Technical Project/Program Manager to coordinate cross-functional engineering and customer programs.

You will define objectives, milestones, schedules, and resource needs with stakeholders, and manage risks across wafer processing, PIC design, layout, and manufacturing partners. You will work with engineering, operations, product management, and suppliers to ensure projects meet technical, schedule, quality, and budget goals and will travel

Qualifications

• Experience leading cross-functional engineering, operations, or manufacturing programs.
• Understanding of hardware product development and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to develop and manage project schedules, risks, action items, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, plus presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple technical projects and programs from planning through completion.
• Define objectives, requirements, milestones, deliverables, schedules, and resource needs with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules with dependencies and critical paths.
• Track progress and identify schedule, technical, resource, and supplier risks.
• Coordinate risk mitigation and recovery with cross-functional teams.
• Facilitate regular project meetings, milestone reviews, and technical discussions.
• Document decisions, action items, owners, and due dates, ensuring follow-through.
• Coordinate activities across wafer processing, PIC design, layout, PDK, systems, test, reliability, and qualification.
• Own or support projects involving external suppliers, foundries, PCB fabrication, assembly, packaging, and test facilities.
• Maintain project documentation, dashboards, and status reports.
• Prepare concise updates for management, highlighting progress and needed support.
• Align project execution with customer and business priorities with product management and sales.
