About the Team

The Tactical Recon & Strike (TRS) Division builds highly capable autonomous drones and solid rocket motors at scale, turning concepts such as Ghost, Anvil, Bolt, and Altius into fully operational capabilities. TRS hires software and hardware engineers who build across a diverse portfolio, from autonomous aerial systems to high‑performance solid rocket motors, collaborating closely with specialist teams to solve our customers’ hardest problems.

What You’ll Do
  • Own the development and deployment of TRS technologies in partnership with General Manager, Program Managers, Chief Engineers, and Engineering teams, ensuring operational readiness for the Department of War.
  • Drive technical execution from concept through delivery, ensuring that all engineering deliverables meet contractual requirements, milestones, and technical standards.
  • Serve as a bridge between Program Managers and engineering functional teams.
  • Develop strong, trusting relationships with DOW customers to enable rapid iteration and faster fielding of solutions.
  • Execute on broad or ambiguous requirements, managing multiple programs simultaneously.
  • Lead end-to-end execution of the program technical scope and associated deliverables.
  • Develop and implement lightweight processes, tools, and metrics for program planning, scope management, risk management, and customer communication.
  • Own all work in the program and become a trusted partner and advisor to engineers.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (technical background preferred).
  • Minimum of 8 years experience managing the development of complex technical systems throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multi‑million‑dollar projects, delivering on‑time and on‑budget.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities, with the capacity to navigate both tactical and high‑level perspectives.
  • Experience coordinating multiple internal and external teams within a complex engineering or technology‑focused organization.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Comfortable with 50% travel.
Salary & Benefits

US Salary Range: $128,000 – $171,000 USD (base salary only; equity and additional compensation are included in a full‑time offer).
